Hi! I’m Kiran, a writer and poet based in NYC. I write about identity, girlhood, rage, and all things tender and messy.
Today, my poems and essays have been published in Oh Reader Magazine, Poetic Reveries, Effemera Magazine, Page Galley Journal, and Opol Magazine, as well as in anthologies from Cozy Ink Press, LWS, and Gather Poetry. I’ve written for Book Riot and the NYC-based lifestyle magazine ciaooo!, where I served as an editorial lead.
You can find me reading (and re-reading) my favorite fantasy and romance novels, building creative writing workshops, and juggling one too many projects at once (including a novel, a poetry collection, and a children’s book).
